1. Overview
This page summarizes the rights you may have under data protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union and the UK GDPR.
For details on what data we collect and how we use it, see our Privacy Policy.
The availability and scope of these rights depends on the law applicable to your situation. In some cases, these rights may be subject to limitations or exceptions provided by law.
2. Right of access
You have the right to ask whether we process personal data about you and, if we do, to obtain a copy of that data along with certain information about how it is processed.
3. Right to rectification
You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal data we hold about you, and to complete any incomplete personal data.
4. Right to erasure
You have the right to request that we delete your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, when you withdraw consent, or when the data has been unlawfully processed.
This right is not absolute. We may be required or permitted to retain certain data for legal, accounting, or legitimate business reasons.
5. Right to restrict processing
You have the right to request that we limit the processing of your personal data in certain situations, such as while we verify the accuracy of contested data or evaluate an objection you have raised.
6. Right to data portability
Where processing is based on your consent or on a contract with you and is carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive the personal data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and to transmit that data to another controller.
7. Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data when that processing is based on our legitimate interests or carried out for direct marketing purposes.
If you object to processing for direct marketing, we will stop processing your data for that purpose.
8. Automated decision-making
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produces legal effects or similarly significant effects concerning you, except in limited circumstances permitted by law.
We do not currently make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on individuals based solely on automated processing.
9. Withdrawing consent
Where we rely on your consent to process personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
10. How to exercise your rights
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at angelo@adverfalcon.com.
To help us process your request:
- Describe the right you wish to exercise and the data involved
- Provide enough information for us to verify your identity
- Where applicable, indicate any preference for how you would like to receive the response
We will respond within one month of receiving your request, although in complex cases this period may be extended in accordance with applicable law. There is generally no fee for exercising these rights, though we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to act if a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
11. Right to complain
If you are not satisfied with our handling of your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
In the United Kingdom, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):
In the European Union, you can find a list of national data protection authorities through the European Data Protection Board: edpb.europa.eu.
